Alliteration

Poems are almost always alluring
whenever written with wonderfully witty
phrases fitting favorably into its format.
My backyard beckons beautiful birds
because of the bountiful banquet
provided, permitting picky-peckers plenty
of great gourmet goodies for their gullets.
Sitting silently, sedately upon my soft sofa
looking at the lightly lit yard illuminated by
dawn’s rays driving away dreary darkness,
motivation for the message for many missives
I compose comes completely from careful consideration
of lessons learned from my little look at Nature.
